Doug Horner was elected to his third term as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for Spruce Grove-Sturgeon-St. Albert on March 3, 2008, and currently serves as Deputy Premier, President of the Treasury Board and Enterprise and Minister Liaison to the Canadian Forces.
